Common BMW, but in an actual color (imagine that?!) with an ultra rare drivtrain (in the US). Props to this gentleman. I’ve been a passenger in a 335D before - 425 lb/ft is no joke in a 3 series! That’s over 100 more than a contemporary V8 M3.

And parked between the lines, this one could even have the rare and not sought after turn signal option group.

Nice color btw, that’s the one I would pick.

I don’t know the names of BMW paint codes anymore (probably a good thing) but yep I’ve always like this light blue metallic a lot, you don’t see it often.

Yep it’s snowing for the first time in a couple weeks today, lots of salt and sand on the commute this morning. My car is so much worse...

My E92 335i is the same color. Blue water metallic. Settled for it but fell in love the first time I saw it at night. Wouldn’t want any other color now!

Bluewater metallic, I really want an E92 328i M-Sport in that color with a red interior and a 6MT.

Losing WW2 will do that to you

That’d be a cool thing to keep. The last 3er with an n/a straight 6, no?

Yup, last N/A 3er, one reason I want it, mainly cause I don’t want to deal with a high mileage turbo.

you can have it any color you like... as long as that color belongs in a swamp

Yeah there’s no way I’d ever buy a high mileage 335. My obscure e9x of choice would have to be an 06 330i with that Z4 SI motor in it, I bet they’re soooo good

I’ve ridden in a 335d with the M-sport package. It was an auto, but as a passenger, who cares? The way it pulled hard from 100 km/h all the way through 200 km/h was amazing. Torque for days!

I didn’t realize they shared a motor, not surprised though.

It’s a really strange one year only thing. IDK what the reason was and I’m pretty sure it was just the sedan.

Don’t have any good pictures honestly, but it just really shows all the lines of the car at night. It just shines and really looks good late at night, which sadly isn’t captured very well on camera.

This was in Germany, early 2006. My understanding is that the auto was the only choice there as well.
